Digital Explosion is a group formed by two brothers (Tero and Jouni) from Finland. Lisa Raven and Maarit, two female singers were also members of the band.[1] The name of the group "came as an idea to evoke something digital, something explosive". They are influenced by many artists, including Sheena Easton, The Bee Gees, Kraftwerk, The Human League, Depeche Mode and the music of the 1980s.

In the early 2000s, they signed up to mp3.com[2] where the song Hardcore Symphony peaked to number 1 on the happy hardcore charts.[3]

The songs Hardcore Symphony, Driveing Force, Mythology and Hardcore of the North were featured in the game In the Groove.[4]
